Arriving into a crowded scene in 2018, Ball and Chain wasted no time making their mark and distinguishing themselves from other wedding bands in Ireland. With over fifty years in combined gigging experience, they can cover any musical genre.Throughout their busy career playing the length and breadth of Ireland, Ball and Chain pride themselves on professionalism and crowd interaction.
In 2019, Ball and Chain were chosen to be the Official Band of Today FM's 'Your Day' National Promotional Campaign. They have also been featured in The Herald newspaper along with being shortlisted for Newcomer of the Year in the Weddings Online Awards.

Mike has been on the gigging scene for more than ten years. Between playing multiple instruments in various bands – both original and covers – Mike has hit the stage in some of the most renowned venues across the country including The Academy, The National Concert Hall, and Electric Picnic.

We had the pleasure of having Ball and Chain perform at our wedding and they were absolutely amazing all of my guests are talking about how lively the band were and how interactive they were with the crowd. I would highly recommend.
We also had Lucy for our ceremony music and her voice is absolutely beautiful l've had a lot of the guests say to me how they thought it was a recording they could not believe she was singing live. Would highly recommend.

We had the pleasure of having Ball and Chain perform at our wedding and they were absolutely amazing all of my guests are talking about how lively the band were and how interactive they were with the crowd. I would highly recommend.

This band went above and beyond for our wedding back in March!
All of them were absolutely amazing, we heard so many great things about the music the whole weekend, people were none stop for days talking about the music! Couldn't have picked a better band for the night! All of our feet were killing us for the day over all the dancing!
Wouldn't have been that good of a night without them even the DJ was great took requests from everyone. the band and DJ made sure everyone's music tastes were covered! I highly recommend the ball and Chain Wedding Band!!

They played exactly what we wanted and really played for their audience. All of our guests talked about the band for weeks after the wedding and we still get people commenting on them 3 months later!
We also had Kevin and Lucy play at our drinks reception and it added such a nice vibe to the day. Thanks for a great day

Ball and Chain played at our wedding in July 2022. They were fantastic!
The dance floor was full all night and their interactions with the crowd was great!
We booked Ball and Chain after watching YouTube videos due to COVID so were a little apprehensive as we had not seen them live, but we were delighted with our choice and would highly recommend them.
They were fantastic to deal with and learnt a new song for our first dance!

Ball and Chain were absolutely amazing! We didn't leave the dancefloor all night! The band was very professional, they had great package options to suit all types of weddings
We booked them for the after-dinner music and DJ set. They set up quickly and had everyone dancing immediately.
We booked the band originally in 2020 but had to reschedule due to restrictions, and they were very accommodating and made the booking process very easy for us.
Their setlist was great and had something for everyone. Our guests particularly liked the 90's dance tracks and the synth! So much so, that some of our guests tried to book Ball and Chain for their own weddings as they were packing their equipment away.
We honestly hope to see Ball and Chain again at another wedding in the near future, and would not hesitate for a second to recommend them for yours.

Ball and Chain were absolutely amazing at our wedding last week! From the first day dealing with Kevin, he couldn't have been any more helpful, always coming back to any questions immediately!
We had them as the band and DJ and the dance floor was full for the night! We loved how they did a bride vs groom side on the dancefloor and it really kicked things off!
Everyone was commenting how good they were the next day! I would definitely recommend them for your wedding! You won't be disappointed! Nicola & Phil

We had the privilege of having the Ball and Chain at our wedding. From the very start they were so easy to deal with and very helpful when we had to change our date due to COVID.
From start to finish they had people on the floor dancing and singing away till the early hours.
They catered for all genre of music which was great, they were really great with the guests and got them involved from the beginning.

Both myself and my wife couldn't possibly recommend Ball & Chain any more.
We had them play our wedding from ceremony to DJ and every second was amazing, and everyone commented on just how incredible the music was.
All I can say is, look no further than Ball & Chain. You won't regret it! Thank you so much again to Kevin, Lucy and all the gang.
